Caterham F1 Team Partners with B.R.M Chronographs |
Caterham F1 Team has announced today that it has signed a partnership deal with B.R.M Chronographs. The globally renowned B.R.M Chronographs logo will be featured on the Caterham F1 Team’s cars from the opening race of the 2012 season in Melbourne, Australia, and joins a growing portfolio of blue-chip companies supporting the Anglo / Malaysian team’s challenge to be the fastest developing team in Formula One.

"The Spanish Formula 3 Championship was created during the renaissance of motorsport in Spain including the EURO OPEN MOVISTAR by Nissan, which eventually became the World Series by Renault.
The new championship has replaced the Formula Toyota Championship, a series whose performance was similar to the F3.
The OPEN EUROPE F3 championship has attracted many pilots for which the available budgets did not allow to access in Euroseries immediately.
With support from Renault, the WORLD SERIES have grown and have allowed pilots to try their luck in Formula 1. It has also favored the birth of big GP2 teams and offered new opportunities to F3 drivers. For several years the success of this championship has been international and attracts seasonal drivers from all continents.
The chassis of our F3 Open Championship car and the engine are similar to those used in Asian F3 Championship. All competitors are given the same F3 engine from Toyota and chassis from the Italian manufacturer Dallara. This makes the races more fair. "

BRM pays tribute to this technical prowess-celebrating the spirit of these beloved warbirds-by designing a new series of watches directly inspired by the most significant fighter aircraft of WWII: The Spitfire, the P-51 Mustang North American and the Mitsubishi Zero. The BRM timepieces are crafted like a fuselage, complete with inserted rivets, propeller-shaped hands, cases featuring roundels from different countries, horns that reference exhaust pipes and harness-inspired leather straps.
