Caterham F1 Team announced last april that it had signed a partnership deal with B.R.M Chronographes. The globally renowned B.R.M Chronographes logo has been featured on the Caterham F1 Team’s cars since the opening race of the 2012 season in Melbourne, Australia, and joins a growing portfolio of blue-chip companies supporting the Anglo / Malaysian team’s challenge to be the fastest developing team in Formula One.
The first fruit of our partnership was presented at the Paris Motorshow. We have the pleasure to present three watches to you, limited editions made by BRM Chronographes, with Caterham F1 Team’s colours, green and yellow, the symbolic colours of the brand.
We are happy to share our deal with the team’s enthusiasts and passionate spectators of mechanical sports.

The 2012 season’s IndyCar Series came to an end this weekend with a 500 mile night race finale in Fontana, CA, and BRM North America is proud to announce a new exclusive partnership with IndyCar sensation Marco Andretti.
For decades, the name Andretti has been shining at the pinnacle of motor sports, and following in his grandfather Mario and father Michael's glorious tracks, Marco has become in the past few years one of the most brilliant and beloved drivers competing in the IndyCar Series. Everyone still remembers Marco's incredible debut at the 2006 Indy 500, when rookie Marco Andretti fought for victory against Sam Hornish Jr in the second closest finish in Indy history.
This year, Marco drives a Dallara-Chevrolet for the Andretti Autosport team. And rumor has it that BRM just designed for him a very special edition of its MK-44, officially the lightest automatic chronograph in the world.
Marco accepted to answer a few questions before heading to the Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, California:
Mikael Jehanno: You are heading to Fontana, CA this weekend for the last race of the 2012 IndyCar championship.
What are your hopes for this race? How would you reflect on the ups and downs of this 2012 season?
Marco Andretti: I am coming to Fontana to win. I have had a horribly frustrating year so far so I am looking to end the season on a high note. We led the most laps during the Indy 500 but came up short. Also came up short in Iowa to my team mate, finishing 2nd. So we have run well but we are not happy with the over all results of the season. You will have years like this, you just have to keep hammering. Hopefully we can carry some momentum from Fontana into and thru the off season.
MJ: What made you decide to choose BRM as your official timekeeper?
MA: To be honest, I just saw Simon Pagenaud wearing one and the watch caught my eye. I questioned him and admired the watch.

BRM's emblematic watch, the R50 movement is inspired by a racing bike engine,
with a cylinder resting on three glassfibre or carbon fibre triangles.
The R50 design is based
on the isolastic® principle of mounting the flexible movement on carbon arms.
The arms are held under pressure in a casing circle via progressive pitch springs,
which isolates the movement from shocks and any intrusive vibrations, like an engine is isolated
from the chassis by silentblocs. R50 models with a 50 mm diameter, water resistant to 100 m
and with a 48 hours power reserve.
