A future star of F1
The young racing driver Aurélien Panis looks set for stardom—so much so that he has already joined the BRM team. After 2 seasons in Formula Renault 2.0, Panis turned to Formula Renault 3.5, the fast-track to Formula 1, with the Toulouse-based team Tech1 Racing. We wish him every success with this new challenge.

With the Chardonnet Compétition team

WRC3 world rally champions and winners of the Citroën Top Driver in 2013, Sébastien Chardonnet and Thibault De La Haye will once more be wearing BRM colors, their season is already off to a flying start as they set the 2nd fastest time in the SS8 at the Monte-Carlo Rally.
So, the Monte Carlo rally is over. How did it go?

I'm pleased with how it went overall, for several reasons. I'll always remember that race. What more can a rally driver ask for than to compete in the Monte Carlo Rally as part of the WRC? I'm not entirely satisfied with the result but we are pleased with our performance for our first WRC Monte Carlo in difficult conditions.

You caused a stir in the SS8 on the second day when you set the second fastest time, just behind Ogier. How did that feel?

At first, we were just really happy, then later, very proud. That performance made all the difference to the rally! It's rewarding for the whole team and everyone around us who works hard to make sure we are in a position to set a time like that with a WRC 2011 car up against drivers with 2015 generation cars.

You were WRC3 world champion in 2013. Does this make it easier to find sponsors?

We signed as official drivers for Citroën Racing in 2014 which is pretty good! (laughs). No, seriously, being world champion of anything gives you extra credibility. It's reassuring for sponsors.

What does 2015 have in store?

We aim to take part in 8 rounds of the world championships and are looking for sponsors to help us keep going and ultimately sign a constructor contract within the next 2 years. We are organising a sponsors' day on 14 March with a WRC test drive and 2 wheel drive with paddle-shift.

You joined BRM two years ago now What have you got out of the partnership?

Magnificent customised watches! (laughs) But most of all a great relationship with a lovely man called Bernard! (laughs) BRM’s designs are very vibrant and traditionally, it has always been important for drivers to be associated with a famous watch. I am delighted to be associated with BRM.
At the Pau-Arnos track
In the 1980s, in a spot where most people just saw fields and hills, a visionary man dreamed of setting up a centre for motor sports and managed to convince other enthusiasts to join him. The European Pau-Arnos track is the result of that dream. The multi-purpose track has 6 different layouts from 600 to 3030 metres, open to cars and motorbikes with professional or amateur drivers.

To celebrate this adventure and it's sporting spirit that make the Pau-Arnos track what it is, BRM Chronographes have designed a special 35-piece limited edition watch, the V12-44. Each watch will be numbered and will bear the outline of the circuit on the crown and the logo on the back. Don’t hang about it you would like to be one of the lucky 35!

With Historic Road Car
BRM Chronographes is a partner of Historic Road Car, which offers trips in a Porsche Classic.

The number of participants is voluntarily limited to eight to ensure a warm and friendly atmosphere. With just two occupants per vehicule, this permits all the drivers to have a turn in each car during the day or half day trips. Historic Road Car also proposes to classic car enthusiasts to discover each vehicule individually an hour at a time.
Porsche driving lessons with Jacques Laffite
