For a limited-edition timepiece collection
Bernard Richards Manufacture (BRM) and Corvette® Racing are partnering to release a series of limited-edition timepieces. The Chevrolet® Corvette® C7.R Racing collection honours an automotive icon, and the bespoke collaboration brings together two uniquely individual companies united by a commitment to the art of motorsports.

BRM’s artisans have translated the racecar’s legacy through handcrafted timepieces, channelling the spirit and aesthetic of Corvette® with industry-leading technical precision.

The models feature signature elements such as custom-painted hands and dials in classic C7.R yellow, custom-stitched leather bands that mirror racing seatbelts, and engraved stems bearing the brand’s unofficial mascot “Jake”.

Comprised of only 100 numbered timepieces each, the first four series of watches are based on BRM’s V12-44-COR chronograph and the V6-44-COR automatic, and both are available in a combination of yellow/black or black/grey. BRM has also engineered two special editions of the V12-44-COR in recognition of the collection’s debut at the 2015 24 Hours of Le Mans; the pair of exclusive 24-model, numbered series reflects the team’s dual C7.R track cars.

With BRM Chronographes' partners

BRM Chronographes' livery could be seen on the track at the Le Mans 24 Hours, sported by our partners Larbre Competition Team, AAI Racing, Team So24!, Pipo Derani, Gustavo Yacaman, Julien Canal of G-Drive Racing Team and Derek DeBoer of Aston Martin Racing North America.

Well done to everyone, and congratulations to Julien Canal and his teammates, who took third place in the LMP2 class, to Pipo Derani and Gustavo Yacaman, who took fourth place in the same class, and to Derek DeBoer, winner in the GT4 class!

Philippe Dumas – Manager of G-Drive Racing Team

How did the race go for you?
Finishing a 24-hour race (in third and fourth place) is always a success and a great exploit.
A few issues with electronics arose for the No.28, and without them we might have hoped to do a little better. The No.26 ran like clockwork (except for a quickly extinguished fire which started in the pits), by the end we were only about a minute away from winning...

You had eight cars on the starting line, how many reached the finish line?
Nine Onroak cars! Seven Ligiers and two Morgans. Seven finished this demanding race. One had a gearbox problem, the other an engine problem. The results for Onroak Automotive were very pleasing in terms of reliability.

It is very hard to achieve a place at the top of the podium, is third place enough for you?
Of course not! Especially as we finished with as many laps as the winner. However, the whole team and the drivers can be proud of having put on a good 24-hour performance for the public. It was a real pleasure to watch! We are going to analyse the race and come back even stronger for the next stage of the FIA WEC, and fight for the title.

You have joined the BRM family. What has it brought you?
Bernard's kindness and sincerity are the first things that spring to mind. Apart from that, just a little happiness in this very complicated world... That's a good start really, isn't it? (laughs)

Derek DeBoer

You won the GT4 Class last Saturday. Was it the first time you had taken part in the Le Mans 24 Hours?
Yes, this was my first time in Le Mans and my first time racing anywhere overseas. What a wonderful place! The people, the history, the event- it was all well above expectations! I can’t wait to come back!

How do you feel after this victory?
This experience gave me a lot of confidence- it was a big deal for me to have the opportunity to be here, and to be competitive at such a daunting track right out of the gates was exactly what I had hoped for. I had a lot of support in getting here and am proud to have represented the team, my family, friends and sponsors in such a great way.

Your Aston Martin bears the BRM livery; you even have an image of a watch on your helmet and on the roof of your car. Can you explain why you chose to do this?
My relationship with BRM is one that I am very proud of. To have the opportunity to have a bespoke watch with such a great company has placed me in a pretty special group of drivers. I take my role as a BRM brand ambassador very seriously and I want the world to know what a special place, with special beliefs and values BRM is. Bernard and Frederic have embraced my racing spirit and I am very grateful to represent them in the best possible light.

You had the chance to visit our Manufacture. What do you think about the production of BRM watches?
Visiting the BRM facility was beyond words! There is so much perfection, pride and spirit inside those walls. Each time I look at the BRM timepiece on my wrist I will really know all the love and passion that has gone into it.

With the HKAA Autosport Challenge

« We are happy to welcome BRM on board for the HKAA Autosport Challenge. BRM is a well-known name in motorsport and you can see many BRM watches on the wrists of drivers and team members at race circuits around the world. » Mr Lawrence Yu – President of HKAA

Wins for our partners
